I am so glad that I chose to work with Girls Right the World for Horizons this year. I came across so many em-powering, inspiring writings and visual art pieces. In so many instances, the powerful words made me gasp, and in so many moments, the messages touched my heart so deeply they gave me goosebumps. To every girl who submitted, thank you for reminding me again how influential a person's voice can be; thank you for being bold enough to step up and tell the world your stories. Your words are seeds germinating into a forest in my mind, and I'm sure they will make just as much of an impact on someone else's life. I greatly appreciate my editorial team; thank you for your constructive and enriching insights that allowed me to see each submission piece with diverse perspectives. And of course, thank you so much, Ms. PT, for starting GRTW, whose power will linger in people's hearts and the world. I hope you enjoy Issue.
